#400 Hop  on the Hogwarts Express

Join us for our 25th year of Hogwarts – as a first year or returning student!   If you’re new, the famous sorting hat will determine your house for the week!  You’ll attend potions class, write for the Daily Prophet, make your house t-shirt, play Quidditch, as well as engage in creative dramatics.  At the end of the week, the House Cup will be awarded.

#401 Coding Camp: Learning Computer Hardware

This summer, it's not just about fun in the sun—it's about fun with circuits and code! Get your hands on the coolest gadgets like Raspberry Pis and Arduinos and discover the magic behind the screens. You're not just going to learn; you're going to create! We've got amazing projects that'll turn you into a young inventor. Students will not only assemble their computers and use circuits, but also use basic coding to make them come to life!

#402 All-New American Girls

This ever-popular camp is back with new and exciting ways of exploring American History through the characters of the American Girl books and dolls. We’ll focus on dolls from all eras, including the present, as we play games and cook recipes, make crafts, enjoy music and have a ton of fun. As you discover how these brave, creative, adventurous and caring girls lived, you’ll reflect on your own talents, hopes and dreams.  So bring your friends (and dolls, of course) as we celebrate being American girls!

Up, up, and away! In this week long camp, you will learn what it takes to design, build, and launch rockets successfully into the stratosphere. Investigate the effects of weight, aerodynamics, and different methods of propulsion on the speed and heights your rocket will soar. Time to bast off!

Come out and clay this summer!  Try your hand at the traditional methods of ceramics, including pinch pots, coil, and slab techniques.  We will discover endless possibilities while exploring a variety of modeling clays including kiln fired, air dry and model magic.  Get ready to show off your clay creations!

#407 Digital Photography

  • Completing grades 4 -8

At this camp, students will learn the fundamentals of Photoshop and explore tools to edit photos and create designs. Throughout the week students will make creative designs in Photoshop, and at the end of the week, students will create an interactive portfolio of their designs.

This course is ideal for students with interests in art, graphic design, digital photography, advertising, animation, fashion, architecture or web design. General experience with computers and the internet is necessary, but no experience with art or design is expected.

 Explore diverse media in a playful atmosphere.  The teacher’s demonstration will act as a springboard to explore, experiment, and create authentic art pieces each day.  Closing each session with a reflection circle, students will have the opportunity to offer positive observations about classmates’ work and reflect on their own discoveries.
