They say life’s a mystery, but it doesn’t have to be!  In this week-long camp, you will explore the basic principles of logic and problem solving so that when you’re faced with one of life’s little mysteries, you’ll be able to solve it with ease.  Each day you will have to use your logical thinking to open a series of unique locks and boxes.   Using Breakout EDU’s gaming platform, you will get hands-on and digital gaming experiences that promote collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and creativity.  Who needs directions, when you have the power of logic!

This week is designed for students who already have some experience using the VEX IQ robotics kits. We will have the opportunity to choose from different building designs or students can “free build” depending on their skill level. Intermediate level challenges will be designed and tested during our week together.

​In this coding class, students will be learning JavaScript to create simple retro arcade games that they can even play on their own XBox!  Students will learn the basics of JavaScript and how to apply them to make basic arcade games.

 Any fashion-forward person knows that the key to great fashion is the accessories.  Create your very own unique fashion statement and become a trendsetter.  Style and customize your own jewelry, headbands, hair ties, belts, and clothing just the way you want them.  You name it, we can make it!

Express yourself through through DIGITAL ART! We will explore apps such as ibisPaint & Procreate. We’ll have brand new iPads and styluses set and ready for your creativity to flow!

Come join us as we explore using Adobe Photoshop as a tool for animating images.  Participants will learn how to create moving text, gifs, animate photographs and drawings, and even create stop-motion videos!  All students should be prepared to create cool stuff you can share with family and friends.  So get animated for creating some really cool stuff!

Embark on a creative journey into the realm of crafting! Join us in this camp where you'll delve into the fundamentals of a design program and unleash your artistic prowess with a Cricut Machine. This camp is perfect for all crafting abilities, whether you are learning the basics or ready to elevate your crafting skills. Come explore the beauty and creativity of crafting as we make T-shirts, stickers, mugs, and more!

Come out and clay this summer!  Try your hand at the traditional methods of ceramics, including pinch pots, coil, and slab techniques.  We will discover endless possibilities while exploring a variety of modeling clays including kiln fired, air dry and model magic.  Get ready to show off your clay creations!

 In Hands on Art, we introduce basic art techniques to provide a solid foundation for future artists. We will explore art world mediums including oil pastels, paint and paper. This unique learning experience will emphasize fun while exploring your child's creativity!

 Explore diverse media in a playful atmosphere.  The teacher’s demonstration will act as a springboard to explore, experiment, and create authentic art pieces each day.  Closing each session with a reflection circle, students will have the opportunity to offer positive observations about classmates’ work and reflect on their own discoveries.

In this week long camp, you'll get up close and personal with some of history's most influential female athletes, like Mia Hamm, Serena Williams, Simone Biles, and Misty Copeland. Explore their respective sports, the pinnacles of their achievements, and what it took them to get there. In the process you just may learn that you are a "game changer" too!
