#100 Into the Land of Fairies

  • Completing grades K-2

  • 9:00 - 12:00  South School  $275

 Enter the fantastic, fascinating and magical world of fairies! Examine all kinds of fairy literature to find out where fairies live, what they like to do, what they wear and the food they like to eat.  We will spend time outside creating fairy houses and fairy gardens. Read, write, draw and play games that the fairies love to play.  If you have a wonderful imagination, then this class is for you!

Open up and say yummmm!  In this weeklong camp, you will learn the sweet science behind cooking and baking some amazing food!  Chef Woodard and her assistants will help you whip up some tasty treats from old favorites like personal key lime pies and homemade salsa to some brand new, top-secret recipes.   By the end of the week, you will be able to go home and turn your own kitchen into a world-famous eatery!

#102 Kindergarten Rocks!

  • Completing Pre-K

  • 9:00 - 12:00   South School  $275

Offered exclusively for children entering kindergarten in the fall of 2024, this camp will ease the worry of the unknown and generate excitement for the year ahead.  Campers will experience typical routines in kindergarten, while learning valuable social, motor and academic skills.  We’ll also be reading books, singing songs and sharing poetry that kindergarten teachers would love to know are part of a child’s “invisible backpack” as they enter school in the fall.

#103 Beginning Robotics

  • Completing 4-8

  • 9:15 - 12:15   Saxe Middle School  $275

Students will have the opportunity to explore and use the VEX IQ robotics kits to build a BaseBot robot. After completing the robot, students will attempt beginner activities to test their robot. Depending on time, there will be opportunities to modify the BaseBot or complete other robot builds during the week-long session.

#104 Acting, Singing, Laughing

Ever wonder what it takes to make it on stage? In this week long camp, you'll dip your toes into the performing arts. Learn the fundamentals of acting, the basics of singing, and have a whole lot of fun along the way. From crafting a scripted scene to trying out your improv skills, you'll find there's no business like show business!

#105 Lego Robotics

Do you love LEGOS?  At this camp, you will learn how to design, build, and program working robots using LEGO WeDo 2 Robotics ®.  Create stories based on the characters you develop as these hands-on activities promote innovation, problem-solving, and collaboration as well as computer and literacy skills.

#106 Digital Photography

  • Completing grades 4 - 8

  • 9:15 - 12:15   Saxe Middle School  $300

At this camp, students will learn the fundamentals of Photoshop and explore tools to edit photos and create designs. Throughout the week students will make creative designs in Photoshop, and at the end of the week, students will create an interactive portfolio of their designs.

This course is ideal for students with interests in art, graphic design, digital photography, advertising, animation, fashion, architecture or web design. General experience with computers and the internet is necessary, but no experience with art or design is expected.

#107 Cricut Camp

Step into the world of crafting!  In this camp you will learn the basics of a design program and create using a Cricut Machine. We'll explore a variety of paper crafts and bring your own designs to life. Come explore the beauty and creativity of crafting.

Explore diverse media in a playful atmosphere.  The teacher’s demonstration will act as a springboard to explore, experiment, and create authentic art pieces each day.  Closing each session with a reflection circle, students will have the opportunity to offer positive observations about classmates’ work and reflect on their own discoveries.
