Need help on your college supplemental essays? Well, you're in luck!
The Writing Center is hosting a Supplemental Essay Workshop specifically for seniors. The workshop will demonstrate constructive approaches to writing the most common types of supplementals: "Why This College?", "Why This Major?", Identity and Community, and Extracurricular Activities, and participants will engage in a brainstorming process that helps to generate specific and meaningful content for these essays.
The workshop, hosted by English teachers and Writing Center directors Kristen Brown and Robert Darken, and generously funded by the NCHS PFA, will be held on September 18th from 7:00-8:30pm in the Wagner Room. The workshop is free for all seniors to attend. We hope to see you there!
