In May, West students were treated to some special science “Demo’s” to help drum up interest in participating in the science fair. Students enjoyed a demonstration about tooth decay that is caused by acid that bacteria creates from sugar. Students also watched as they saw what happens when acids from cola softeners and partially dissolved egg shells. A special thanks to our PTC for preparing these special demos for students. They will be sharing more in the weeks ahead.
