South School Page Runner Program
Calling all South School Readers: Announcing the 2026 PTC PageRunner Summer Reading Program!
All students are encouraged to participate in the PageRunner Summer Reading program! We’ve made it easier to participate in both the NC Library and South Summer Reading program! Students will track minutes and be asked to complete a simple google form at the end of the summer with the tally of total minutes read, name, grade, teacher and picture (optional). All you need to do is keep track of your reading minutes, either in Beanstack while you participate in the New Canaan Library Summer reading simultaneously or through this optional packet.
This program is open to students in Grades 1-4 next year, and the goal is to read at least 1,000 minutes over the summer! Remember to take a photo of your student reading this summer for the bulletin board!
First, the packet will be distributed by the teachers before the end of the school year, but if it's lost, no problem, simply click HERE to download a copy of the 2026 Summer Reading Packet.
Need help accessing books this summer? Build your home library and support South School with purchases made through Scholastic HERE.
Utilize read aloud sites such as Ryan and Craig and Story Line Online.
You can also shop local at Elm Street Books.
