Absence Management

New Canaan Public Schools uses an attendance management system called Absence Management. This is used to record all attendance changes, including absences, in/out of district professional learning , conferences, and to schedule substitute teachers. 

It will be your responsibility to call or log onto the website to report a sick day, a personal day, jury duty. professional conference, field trip, in-district activity, legal action, or religious holiday.

In other words, if you will be out of your classroom or the district we initiate our substitute teacher process with your reporting of the absence in Absence Manager.
