The Youth Employment Service (Y.E.S.) is a community job posting service and provides information on part-time and/or temporary jobs for students.  Students must register with Y.E.S by completing a permission form signed by a parent or guardian before viewing the job board.

Due to restrictions governed by the Connecticut Department of Labor, some jobs may require WORKING PAPERS. In order to obtain WORKING PAPERS, a student must present a promise of employment letter from the planned employer as well as a copy of the student's birth certificate if they are not a NCHS student.

WORKING PAPERS are needed for formal employment by students under the age of 17. You may obtain working papers in the School Counseling Office and the College & Career Center.

Employers: If you are interested in posting a job, please contact the Y.E.S. office (203.594.4664) and request job posting forms. Forms will be mailed to you at your request. Jobs must conform to state of Connecticut regulations regarding the employment of minors.
