Course Selection at NCHS represents an opportunity for our students to discover new fields and evolve their learning within current interests. Please see below for an overview of the course selection process:

• Each spring students select courses for the next academic year, using PowerSchool

• Students are recommended for the next academic course by their teachers and these placements appear on-line

• Should a student wish to appeal their academic recommendation, a link to the Reconsideration of Placement process can be found in each student's PowerSchool account.

• Students enter their elective requests and meet individually with their school counselor to review their future Program of Studies to ensure that they are appropriately selecting classes to meet their post high planning objectives, while progressing towards fulfilling their graduation requirements.
