Ms. Zoe Robinson Appointed Assistant Principal at South Elementary School

Zoe Robinson  The New Canaan Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Bryan Luizzi is pleased to announce that Ms. Zoe Robinson has been promoted to the position of Assistant Principal at South Elementary School.

Ms. Robinson joined the New Canaan Public Schools in 2012 as a Math Specialist at West Elementary School. In 2014 Ms. Robinson was promoted to the K-8 Math Curriculum Coordinator. She is a dedicated member of the Be Well Committee, served on numerous administrative search committees and regularly represents the district at college job fairs.

Prior to joining the New Canaan Public Schools, Ms. Robinson was the Numeracy Instructional Coach at the Bryant School in Bridgeport. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from Brooklyn College and her Masters of Science in Curriculum Instruction and Assessment from Walden University.

“Along with sharing my congratulations with Zoe, I’d also like to share my gratitude with the members of the interview committee, which included faculty, building administrators, district administrators, the Board of Education, and the community.  Their generosity of time and spirit helped us to identify and promote an outstanding candidate and person in Zoe,” shared Dr. Luizzi.  “In her role as K-8 math coordinator,” he continued, “Zoe’s leadership has helped keep our district on the forefront statewide and nationally.  As assistant principal at South Elementary School, she will have the opportunity to work alongside principal Kascak on behalf of the students and school.  They are going to be a wonderful team, and the South School Community has a bright future ahead!”
