We are looking forward to a wonderful first week of school and wanted to share important details regarding the schedule for the week, as well as procedures for arrival and dismissal.
School begins each day at 9:05AM and ends at 3:35PM. Supervision begins at 8:45; students are not to be dropped off prior to 8:45 unless enrolled in Early Birds. Our Early Bird Program is offered to working families who may need before-school care; click HERE for the Early Bird Program details and registration form.
The schedule for the first week of school for students in Grades 1-4 is below. Please note that there is NO remote learning during this week as we establish routines in school.

Tuesday, September 1st – Cohort Y only (Last names, L-Z)
Wednesday, September 2nd – Cohort X only (Last names, A-K)
Thursday, September 3rd – Cohort Y only (Last names, L-Z)
Friday, September 4th – No school for students (Professional Learning Day for staff)
Kindergarten students will attend school daily from Monday-Thursday this week for a half-day session (Cohort X - AM session, 9:05-11:35AM; Cohort Y - PM session, 1:05-3:35PM). Mid-day bus transportation is provided.
Please click HERE for a link to our revised drop-off and pick-up routines, as we anticipate many more families and cars at arrival and dismissal. We appreciate your attention to these procedures and your patience as we work with new protocols to ensure that these times can be as smooth and efficient as possible while maintaining both the health and safety of our students and staff. It is important to keep in mind that cars for drop-off must enter through the Silvermine / Clapboard Hill Rd. entrance of Little Brook Road. Pick-ups MUST have an East car name plate (click HERE) visible on the passenger side windshield; if a sitter or family member is picking up your child, the East car name plate must be given to them and you must enter their name in School Dismissal Manager. Parents and visitors are not permitted in the building at drop off or pick up. Finally, we ask that all first day photos be taken prior to arrival at school to support traffic flow. Please email your first day photos to email@example.com if you would like them to be considered for publication in our yearbook! Thank you for your cooperation.
