"The Miracle Worker" performed by NCHS Theatre
The New Canaan High School Theatre's recent production of "The Miracle Worker" is based on the landmark award-winning drama about the deaf and blind Helen Keller and her governess teacher Anne Sullivan. The original script was drawn from Ms. Keller's autobiography, and the Tony award-winning Broadway production starred Patty Duke as Ms. Keller and Anne Bancroft as Ms. Sullivan.
In the NCHS Theatre's production, the students successfully tackled a number of difficult and challenging social issues that, although the play is set in the 1800s, are timeless.
In 2017, a year when the entire New Canaan Public School community is empowered to embrace positive school climate, there is no better example to be seen, heard, and felt then at the New Canaan High School Theatre's production of "The Miracle Worker" at the NCHS auditorium theater. We hope you had an opportunity to see this highly recommend show.
