Woodworking is an introductory course designed to help first time woodworkers learn the basics. Safety of
corse is the fist lab "basic" the students will learn. The students will become familiar with woodworking tools
and equipment and how to use them correctly. Their first project will be made completely by hand tools, no
machining. Their second project student start learning some of the power tools available in the lab. The third
project has students using all the tools and equipment in the lab to create a marquetry box. At this time
students have a general idea of "Woodworking" and may design and build their final project within the
    specified constraints.
