    This course will explore how combined media enhances our understanding of timeless social and personal issues. Guiding questions that focus on the individual and society will be explored through multiple media. The course emphasizes the development of visual literacy using primarily films; it may also include theater, music, and other art forms.

    Assignments will emphasize interpretation, argumentation and reflection. Students will learn to view multiple forms of media critically using non-fiction as text as well as classical and contemporary literature. Projects will include presentations and formal and informal writing.
    *May be offered for Early College Enrollment credit pending instructor certification.
