  • Dear Student and Family,

    Welcome to our team! We hope that you have been enjoying your summer. We would like to offer you some help as you begin to prepare for the coming school year. Therefore, we have included a list of the materials that we would like you to have for our team. In the interest of keeping your backpacks light, please do not bring additional binders or trapper keepers. Our goal is to have all supplies ready for use by Monday, September 4th.


    Science (Mrs. Pierce)

    Two Pocket Folders, with holes in them

    Apple Sized Rock (nothing fancy please)


    Post It Notes

    Colored pen (not blue or black)

    Language Arts (Mrs. Hubbard) 

    2 - 100+ page composition notebooks

    1 - Two Pocket Folder for handouts

    8 blocks of sticky notes


    Math (Mrs. Harrington)

    2 - 100+ page composition book

    2 - Two Pocket Folders

    Simple Calculator & Ruler (metric and standard) to be kept at home

    Social Studies (Ms. Fulco)

    1.5 inch binder

    2 pocket folders with holes in them

    Loose leaf paper

    Suggested materials for use in ALL classes:

    Assignment Book (Saxe plan book recommended, to be purchased at school) 


    1 dozen Blue or Black Pens (please… no colored or gel pens!) 

    1 dozen (or more) Sharpened #2 Pencils with Erasers. Mechanical pencils are good, too.

    Hand held pencil sharpener which can catch shavings.

    Supply of Loose Leaf Paper and Graph Paper (1/4 inch)

    Package of Glue Sticks,  Post It Notes and Fine Tip Dry Erase Markers for various classes

    1 Box of Markers, Colored Pencils, Highlighters & Black Sharpies (fine or ultra fine)

    Locker Ladder (Hanging type fits in lockers better than wire shelves)

    Box to Hold Loose Supplies (i.e. pencil box or small shoe box)

    Optional, but GREATLY appreciated - Box of Tissues donated to your core teachers for classroom use
