The Advanced Placement Program in Spanish Language is intended for students who wish to reach a high level of fluency in all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This course is organized around thematic units supported by literary, journalistic, and audio/visual texts. Students are required  to show deep understanding of complex  written and audio texts through comprehension exercises, informal written commentaries and formal essays, oral presentations and directed conversations. While the course includes some study of advanced grammar and syntax, students are expected to review previously studied structures independently.
