Designed as a continuation of the first year of TV
Broadcasting, students learn to produce
original programming for NCTV 78, the
town’s educational cable channel. This is
done with a continued focused on the two main
aspects of TV: field and studio
production. Students develop
their technological and writing skills while producing
The Morning Announcements, NCTV’s
weekly news show, which airs live
every Friday morning.
In the field, students utilize advanced production skills to
shoot, edit and broadcast
school and town events such as concerts, sports,
school assemblies and drama
productions.
Students also use professional production equipment
and develop more advanced editing skills in Final Cut Pro.
