Dear Student and Family,

    Welcome to our team! We hope that you have been enjoying your summer. We would like to offer you some help as you begin to prepare for the coming school year. Therefore, we have included a list of the materials that we would like you to have for our team. In the interest of keeping your backpacks light, please do not bring additional binders or trapper keepers. Our goal is to have all supplies ready for use by Friday, September 6th.


    Science (Mrs. Poidomani)

    • Two-Pocket Heavy Duty Folder
    • Pencils

    Social Studies (Ms. Payne)

    • Two-Pocket Folder 
    • Pencils
    • Notebook: Marble composition book  or spiral notebook

    Language Arts (Mrs. Wrobel) 

    • Two-Pocket Folder
    • Notebook: Marble composition book  or a spiral notebook with holes and perforated edges for a clean tear 
    • Block of sticky notes

    Math (Mrs. Wolff)

    • 1.5 inch 3 Ring binder with a small supply of looseleaf paper (regular lined and ¼ inch graphing recommended for Math 7 and Compacted Math 7-8)
    • Zippered Pencil Case with holes that can clip into the 3 ring binder
    • Pencils
    • Set of 8 colored pencils
    • Simple calculator & ruler (metric and standard) to be kept at home

    Suggested materials for use in ALL classes:

    • 2 Dozen (or more) sharpened #2 pencils with erasers, replenished throughout the year
    • 1 Dozen blue or black pens (please… no colored or gel pens!)
    • Hand-held pencil sharpener which can catch shavings.
    • Package of glue sticks,  Post It Notes and fine tip dry erase markers for various classes
    • 1 Box of markers, colored pencils, highlighters & black sharpies (fine or ultra-fine)
    • Box to hold loose supplies (i.e. pencil box or small shoe box)

    Optional, but GREATLY appreciated: box of tissues/wipes donated to each of your core teachers for classroom community use.
