Fresh Air Fund Host Families Needed!

posted Mar 1, 2010 12:20 PM by Saxe PTC Webpage Administrator

The Fresh Air Fund gives inner-city children the opportunity to have a summer vacation in the country. First time host families will host children this year July 7-21. It doesn’t take much to host a child, just a willingness to share your heart and home with them for 2 weeks. First time host families may choose the sex and age of their hosted children. Children visiting a family for the first time are between the ages of 6-12 although children hosted by a family in previous years may continue visiting them through the Fresh Air Fund up to age 18. Many area organizations (camps, etc.) offer scholarships to Fresh Air Fund children. For more information on hosting a Fresh Air Fund child this summer, contact Teri Reed at treed04@gmail.com or 203 972 9199 or Nicole Heath (our area coordinator for the Fresh Air Fund) at nicoleheath@optonline.net or 203 329-8629 or visit www.freshair.org.
